Honestly, I’m still shocked that after 4 years of blogging I haven’t published this recipe for the classic homemade lasagna I’ve been making for years. This is the recipe I bring to almost every dinner party with friends, the one that takes center stage on Shavuot, the one I try to prepare for every birthday (let’s not talk about the birthday I have coming up in two weeks, k?).
So here I am, correcting this error immediately and bringing you a truly comforting and satisfying recipe. A combination of sheets of pasta that absorb all the flavors, a spicy yet delicate tomato sauce, and a cheese sauce that is like something out of a dream.
And here’s another great idea – you can cook any kind of pasta you like and prepare just the cheese sauce. When the sauce is ready, add the cooked pasta and mix together. Don’t say I didn’t warn you this is a bite of something special.
