Since I started the blog—and even before that, on Instagram—I’ve tried really hard not to post photos of things I make if there isn’t a recipe to go with them. It sounds rather simple… but sometimes it’s so hard.
When I’m excited about a soup that I just finished cooking or a gorgeous cake coming out of the oven, all I want is to take a picture and share how amazing it turned out. But what do I do if I don’t have a recipe yet? Usually—I won’t post it.
And then came these cinnamon rolls.
I made them almost by accident, from leftover dough—and they turned out so unbelievably good: soft, fluffy, wafting with that intoxicating cinnamon aroma, and filled with a caramel-like filling from the brown sugar.
I couldn’t resist. I posted it to my story.

What I didn’t expect was the flood of messages that came immediately after. So… after a few (okay, many) test batches—here is the recipe for my cinnamon rolls.
And yes, I added a light, creamy glaze that’s very reminiscent of the classic American version. You don’t have to add it—but it makes them even better.
How are you still here?! Go make them. And then tell me how they turned out.
