You should know, there is no more winning combination than sweet strawberries, fluffy cream cheese filling, and ladyfingers that soften into delicate, melt-in-your-mouth layers. And this strawberry tiramisu has it all!
All you need to do is slice the strawberries and whip together the cream. A few minutes of assembly, much like an old-fashioned biscuit cake, and dessert is ready.
One small note: instead of dipping the ladyfingers in homemade strawberry syrup, you can simply dip them in milk and save yourself a step.
- Mash about 10 strawberries with a fork or potato masher. Place them in a small saucepan with 1 cup water and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes. Let cool completely. - In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, combine the heavy cream, vanilla pudding mix, powdered sugar, and cream cheese. Whip on medium speed until a stable, fluffy cream forms. - Slice about half of the remaining strawberries into thin slices. Cut the rest in half to decorate the top. - Quickly dip the ladyfingers into the cooled strawberry syrup and arrange them in a single layer in an 8-inch square baking dish. - Spread half of the cream mixture over the ladyfingers and smooth into an even layer. - Arrange the sliced strawberries over the cream. -Dip another layer of ladyfingers into the strawberry syrup and place them over the strawberries. Spread the remaining cream on top and smooth evenly. Decorate with the halved strawberries. - Refrigerate until serving. The tiramisu is even better after a few hours in the refrigerator, once the ladyfingers have softened and absorbed the flavors of the cream and strawberries.

Notes
- When strawberries aren't in season, mango or raspberries work beautifully here. - Instead of ladyfingers, you can use petit beurre cookies. - For a quicker version, dip the ladyfingers in milk instead of making the strawberry syrup.
